🗓️ Wednesday, July 24, 8:00 AM | 📍 OU Health Sciences, Student Union
The Summer Immersion Program (SIP) is a one-day program for prospective HSC students to learn and engage with numerous members of our HSC community. The goal is to expose participants to the 80+ programs available on the OU Health Sciences campus while equipping students with the tools to be successful in the application process. All applicants must be at least 18 years of age and/or enrolled in a post-secondary educational program to attend.
By attending SIP, participants will be able to describe action steps needed to pursue a career in the health sciences, given the chance to explore educational opportunities at OUHSC in depth, and identify best practices for resume building and interview skills. Students will participate in presentations from the seven academic colleges and will have the opportunity to engage in medical simulations like intubation, surgery, and medical imaging.
