As a pre-health sciences student looking to spend part of Summer 2025 engaging with the University of Oklahoma, check out in-person and virtual summer opportunities offered by the University of Oklahoma Health Campus. Opportunities are designed for students of various ages and ranging in length from day camps to four-week programs.

Future PharmeRx Day

SPARK Summer Camp

Camp BoomeRx

College of Pharmacy

May 19 - 23, 2025

The University of Oklahoma Health College of Pharmacy Camp BoomeRx is a weeklong intensive camp held May 19-23, 2025 designed to provide the foundation for a successful pharmacy school application. Sessions will include pharmacy school study preparation, one-on-one application coaching, introduction to pharmacy school topics, interaction with faculty, alumni, and pharmacy students, and more.

Summer Immersion Program (SIP)

The 2025 Summer Immersion Program is a full day program designed for prospective students to learn from and engage with numerous members of The University of Oklahoma Health. The goal is to expose participants to the 70+ programs available, while equipping students with the tools to be successful in the application process. All applicants must be enrolled in a post-secondary educational program and/or 18 years or older to attend. Students will participate in presentations from the seven academic colleges and will have the opportunity to engage in medical simulations.

Summer Undergraduate Research Program

Graduate College

May 19-July 22, 2025

The Graduate College at The University of Oklahoma Health hosts five summer undergraduate research programs aimed at preparing and encouraging undergraduate students to pursue careers in biomedical research or health-related sciences. Students join experienced laboratories where they work with other students and personnel to pursue their own projects over the course of a nine-week period. On the final day, students show off their progress at a poster session to the campus community.
