TULSA, OKLA. – The University of Oklahoma Board of Regents approved an ambitious plan in Tulsa today to incrementally increase enrollment in the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program in the OU College of Medicine at OU Health Sciences by more than 40% over the next five years – a strategic initiative designed to address the critical demand for additional health care professionals in Oklahoma.

Club Scrubs is a hands on, exciting, interactive club for high school students interested in exploring health careers. Students will have the opportunity to hear from OU Tulsa, SCM and local community health care professionals, receive mentoring from our current medical doctor and physician associate students and participate in new programs, simulations, demonstrations and activities. The program is free to all high school students that attend.
Club Scrubs meets twice monthly 5:30-7:00pm on Tuesday evenings at the OU Tulsa Schusterman Center. Meeting information and location will be sent via email to registered participants the day before the meeting. All participants must have a current (this academic year) and completed Minors on Campus Form before attending a Club Scrubs session.
